Regulation-First™ Feeding respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This policy explains how information may be collected, used, stored, and shared when you use Regulation-First™ Feeding and related services provided by Helping Hands Therapy Services, PLLC.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use the app, we may collect account information such as your name, email address, login information, and subscription status. Parents and caregivers may also voluntarily enter child and family information such as a child’s name or nickname, date of birth, feeding concerns, food preferences and history, sensory characteristics, mealtime observations, regulation patterns, food exploration experiences, progress, allergies, and medical or feeding-related notes.
Please provide only information reasonably necessary to use the Services.
Information about children
Regulation-First™ Feeding is designed for use by parents, legal guardians, caregivers, and professionals, not for independent use by young children. Information about children is entered by an adult user to organize observations, identify patterns, receive educational guidance, and support communication with appropriate professionals.
Feeding Profile
The Feeding Profile collects caregiver observations about factors that may influence feeding. It is an educational and organizational tool, not a medical, nutritional, psychological, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, or feeding diagnosis or clinical assessment. Results should not be interpreted as establishing the presence or absence of a feeding disorder, ARFID, dysphagia, sensory processing disorder, or other medical or developmental condition.
AI-powered features
Certain features may use artificial intelligence to provide personalized educational information based on information entered into the app. Information submitted to AI-powered features may be processed by technology providers used to operate those features. AI-generated responses may be incomplete or inaccurate and do not constitute medical, nutritional, therapeutic, or other professional advice.
How we use information
We may use information to provide and personalize the app, generate plans and summaries, track patterns and progress, provide educational and AI-powered support, maintain accounts, provide customer support, improve functionality, maintain security, and meet legal obligations.
Provider summaries and sharing
You control whether you share reports generated from information you enter. A Regulation-First™ Feeding report is based primarily on caregiver-entered observations and is not a medical record, diagnosis, clinical assessment, or treatment plan.
Third-party services and payments
We may use third-party providers for application hosting, authentication, data storage, artificial intelligence, email, analytics, and payment processing. Their handling of information may also be governed by their own privacy policies and contractual obligations. If paid subscriptions are offered, payment information may be processed by a third-party payment processor; we generally do not directly store complete payment card numbers.
Data security and retention
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, but no electronic system can be guaranteed completely secure. We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain legitimate business records, comply with applicable law, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
Your choices
Depending on applicable law and available app functionality, you may be able to access or correct account information, delete information you entered, request account deletion, request information about our privacy practices, or opt out of certain communications.
External links and changes
We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party websites linked from the app. We may update this policy periodically; the updated version will display a revised Last Updated date.
